R75 a month Gives a teen an annual camp experience
Camps provide opportunity for the youth and facilitators to come together for extended periods of discussion, learning, sharing and fun. During the camp experience they receive focused skills training sessions which include: Self-Development; Gender, Relationships and rights; Sexual and reproductive health; Leadership; Communication; and Community Action. Besides acquiring new skills, they enjoy outside development activities and engaging with other young leaders in a safe environment. For many it is their first stay away from home and a key component of social development in their lives. The weekly support group sessions provide on-going reinforcement to ensure that what the young people learn on camp is sustained.
